1. General

This policy explains what personal data the KTS Academy online platform (saaq.kz, “we”, “the platform”) collects, why, and how we use and protect it.

We process data in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Their Protection”. By registering on the platform or signing in with Google, you agree to this policy.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: first and last name, email, username, city and country.
  • When you sign in with Google: your name, email and profile picture from your Google account. We never receive your Google password.
  • Payment data: the amount, the course, and the payer name and phone you enter when paying by transfer. We do not receive or store bank card details.
  • Learning data: course enrolments, viewed lessons, test results.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, activity logs and cookies required for signing in and for the site to work.

3. How we use data

  • to create your account and let you sign in;
  • to verify payments and give access to purchased courses;
  • to save your learning progress and test results;
  • to send service emails: registration confirmation, payment status, password recovery;
  • to keep the site secure and fix errors.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

4. Who we share data with

  • Google — only when you sign in with Google, to verify your account.
  • Our email provider — to deliver service emails.
  • Banks (Kaspi, Halyk) — you pay in their apps, and they process the payment under their own terms.
  • Public authorities — only where the law expressly requires it.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on a protected server and only platform administrators can access it. Connections to the site are protected with HTTPS.

We keep data for as long as your account exists. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting law requires.

6. Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, correct it in your profile, withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your account. To do so, email us at the address in the “Contact” section.

We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page.
